Wilmington, N. C, Nov. 3.- Election day opened bright and clear. Voters were out eaflier than usual and a heavy vote was assured. Raleigh, N. C, Nov. 3. - An enormous vote was polled throughout the state. The threatened race riot at Goldsboro was averted by the calling out of the militia.
