The Young Women's Cbristian Assooiatiou has beeu making iinprovernents in its rooms. There is scarcely an association in the state that has as nice au assambly room as tbe Aun Arbor girls have nuw. Wonien desiring work to do and women desiring work done onght to get together. They can do this at the assooiation rooms for $1. Oue strong woman wishes room work to do, by the day or week. Last week the Yonug Women's Christiau Assooiatinu asked for a sewiug machine to be nsed for the class in dress makiug. Tuesday morning early, the president was sent for to talk with Mrs. John R. Miner abont tbat machine, and it now forms a part of the equipment of the rooms. The association classes were opened last evening and give promise of being well attended. During the evening, the teachers explained the objects and methods of the classes. Music and refreshmeuts also formed a part of the program. During the evening mauy of the frieuds of the associatiou took occasion tu drop in and see tbe members.
