Five Years For A Footpad

Saratoga, N. Y., Nov. 17.- James Kearney of New York city and Chicago, who held up and robbed Mrs. Maria Bigelow of Lowell, Mass., here some time ago, pleaded guilty Monday to grand larceny in the second degree. He was sentenced to flve years in Dannemora prison. Other indictments against him, assault in the second degree and robbery in the first degree, are still to be acted upon.
