Bicycles For Soldier

Washington, Dec. 22.- With the npproval of congress, 1,000 soldiers will be equipped with bicycle outfits before the close of the year.. A bilí has been prepared for presentation to congress authorizing the purchase of a sufflcient number of bicycles to provide each fort and military station with ten machines. The soldiers who show the best skill in the use of the wheel will be drilled upon the machines and assigned to duties requiring rapid transportation.
