The meeting of the Michigan medica legislation league in Lansing Thnrgday of last week, resnlted in the formation of a bilí to be submitted to the legisla ture for the pnrpose of regnlating th piaotioe of medicine in the state. The bill as agreed upon was mainly the same as tbat passed by the legisla ture two years ago with all objectiona ble and nnoonstitntional features eradicated. It próvidos for a board of registration consisting of niue members from the different sohools of medicine for the registration of all doctors, now praofcioing in the state and for four ways in whioh doctors may be admitted to praotioe in the future, as follows: First - By being already in praotice iu the state and registering. Second - By a certifícate of registration froro anotber state. Third - By passing au examination before the board. Ponrth - By possessing a diploma from a reoognized medioal college having at least a four years' conrse. The bill does not contémplate the requiring of the examination of any doctor practioing in the state, but simply those wbo wish to begin to praotice in tbe state hereafter who are not provided with tbe reqnired diploma or certifícate of registration from another state.
