The following offloers for the Rcsning year were elected : President, Jacob Reichert, Scio; vice president, Jacob Koapp, Fceedom; secretary, Charles Braun, Ann Arbor; treasnrer, Michael F. Qrossbans; direccors, Matthew Seeger, Saline, Jacob Jedele, Daxfcer, Adam Bohnet, Pittsfleld. Tbe society is in a most prosperous conditiou due largely to tbe cureful and jndicious management of its offlcers Tbe losses have been lig'it, the rate beiug 1.25 per $1,000 of insurance.
