Albany, N. Y., Jan. 19.- The two houses of the state legislatura voted Tuesday separately for United States senator. In the senate the vote was: Thomas C. Platt, 35; Hill, 11; George, 2. Senator Guy made a brief speech eulogizing the services of Henry George in behalf of the Democratie ticket nominated at Chicago. In the assembly the vote was: Platt, 112; HUI, 31; George, 2.
