The law of '95 flxed the liosnse fee for resident deer hunters at 50 oents, one-half of whioh was to go to the oonnty clerk who is&ued a license and the other half to the state fnnd for tbo game warden's department. Aboat f15,000 was colleoted, but not a peuuy of it was tnrned into tbe fund. The county olerks kept it all. Wbat the game warden wants done tbis year is to inorease the license fee to $1, the olerk to keep 25 oents for himself and to pay over the balanr.e to tbe state treasurer for the warden's departnient.
