George L. Yaple, of Mendon, who is to laad the democratie hosts in the spring oarapaign, will make an exoellent oanvass for the important office of Sopreme Justioe. Being -in the prime of life and possessed of keen judgment, the resnlt of wide expecience from a clientage of responsible nature, he should not fail to commaud the respect and snffrage of all wiugs of the party. Yaple representa all thatthe democratie party has been in the past, being a true reformer and one who has been chosen repeatedly to contend for the principies of trne Jeffersonian spirit. It has been suggested by mauy member8 of the Cleveland wing of the party ttaat tbe two factions shonld unite in tbe spring campaign, and again be in readinesa for oo-operative actiou against the proposed regalation of the tariff. Althongh the spring campaign onght not to be fought stiictly on party lines, the nominafcion of Mr. Yaple, who has ever served demooracy loyally in whatever oapacity chosen, will give all factions an opportnnity for showiug their fealty to the cause of a reuniĆ³n. Mr. Yaple's nomination carries with it the prestige which the gentleman bas ac qnired as a trne-blue democrat and reformer. It is w'orthy the support of all opponents of the McKinley-Hanna
