Two new literary oJubs have recently been organized in the city. One of them is a French club which meets every Monday evening at Dr. Nancrede's, under the instrnotion of Mr. Franoois. One bonr is spant in conversational French after which refreshments are served. The members of the club are: Mrs. Cushney, Miss Alice Brown, Miss Nanorede, Dr. Warthin, Dr. McClymonds, Dr. Chadbonrne and Mr. Spitzley. The other is a Browning club organized by a nnrnber of ladies' which holds its meetings Wednesday mornings. Among those who belong are Mrs. Freer, Mra. Rnssell, Mrs. Waite, Mrs. Adams, Mrs. PattengiU, Mrs. Jordán and Mrs. Campbell.
