Mr. and Mrs. Sohaller were out spending the evening and cannot teil vhat oaused the fire, which evidently started in a clothes' press. It had been bursing for several hours when disoovered about 10:15 o'clock and was then extinguisbed with great difficnlty, only to breakont afresh abont 3 o'clock next niorning. The loss on furnitnre and clothing was large, nothing being left Mr. and Mrs. Scballer to wear escept the clothes tbey had on. Many presents given theru at their wedding were also destroyed, which cannot be replaced, and the furnitnre is badly wreoked. On all this there was no insuranoe.
