Winona, Minn., April 6. - The city eleetion here resulted in a Republican victory. The contest on mayor was close, r.. H. Tarbell, Rep., being eleeted by J4 majority. Republicans elected treasurer, municipal judge, special municipal judge: the DÊmocrats electtd asses?or. Republicans elected two out of flve aldermen, and with the hold over members -ivill control the council. They also elected four out of five school directors.
