Hannibal, Ma, April 20.- The primary election held for the selection of a Democratie candidate for congress to fill the vacancy eaused by the death of B. P. Giles resulted in the nomination of James T. Lloyd of Shelby county by a majority of 204 over his strongest competitor. E. M. Richmand of Macon county. Lloyd received 4,448 votes and Richmand 2,244. The election will be held June 1.
