Yaple led Lon iu only seveu couuties, iiamely, Arpuac, Branch, Calhonn, Ingham, Manistee, Saginaw and St. Joseph. The last named county gave Yaple bis largest plorality, 522, and Calhonn carne next with 422, Wayne was Loug's banner conuty, rolling up a plnrality of uearly 14,OÖ(T Keut oounty and the upper península also gave him heavy pluralitiea. For regents of tbe uoiversity the vote was aa follows: Repnblioans - Cocker, 203,959; Lawton, 206,90. Silver- Parkill, 136,298; Rupert, 136,298. Gold democrat - Barbour, 31,650; Sweet, 30,474. Prohibitiou - Tracy, 7,792; Mulbolland, 7,692. Sooialist - Gran, 2,094; Dagrey, 2,091. Popnliac - Graves, 8,818; Porter, 3,787; West, 1,115; Cartiss, 1,427. Cockur lost 2,591 votes by reason of having bis uarue spelled Crocker on the official ballot in aeveral connties. Cocker's plorality, 67,213; Lawton's plnrality, 70,092.
