Galesburg, Hls., May 4.- The thirtyfirst annual pnoampment of the Illinois department of the Grand Array of the Republie opened Tnesday moi'ning with fine wpather, beawtiful decorations and large delega tions of G. A. R., W. R. C, and S. ff V. present from all over the state. Commamler Coi:hran and Colonel Wilcox of Blpriii took part in laying the corner stone of the Lombard univeisity gymasium in the atternoon.
