New Orleans, May 4. - The river still remains stationary. Some of the engineers now say that the danger may not pass for three weeks. The weakest levee now imder treatment is at the scène of the Pavis orevasse, on the opposite bank of the river. The rest of the line is being held by levee workers and guards. At one of the levees a suspicious looking negro was killed for refusing to give an account of himself.
