Washington, June 8. - The president Tuesday sent the íollowing nominations to the senate: Frank A. Leach of California, to be superintendent of the mint, San Francisco; William L. Lynch of Louislana, to be assayer of the mint at New Orleans; Henry M. Hoyt of Pennsylvanía, to be assistant attorney general; John M. Barnes of Georgia, to be marshal of the southern district of Georgia. ____-___,_ ______
