Will Change Its Telephone Connection

VVhen the new State Telepbone Go. ;ets its lines in operation in this city, :he offices in the cnnrt house and the ounty officers will have a new connec:ion with theoutside world. A representativo of the oompany bas been quietly at tvork for the past week or two going Erom one place to another, and has in that time interviewed every supervisor in the connty, each and everyone of whom bas pledged himself to support the action of the committee on buildings and grounds whioh will be taktn at a meeting to be held this afternoon. At that meeting a contract will be signed by the committee on bebalf of the board of supervisors whereby separate and independent telephones will be placed in the offices of the county clerk, jndge of probate, register of deeds, county treasurer and prosecuting attorney, and in the sheriff's office at the jail.
