Id the neighborhood of 150 poople left the Michigan Central depot at Ann Arboi Tuesday morning on the second animal excursión to Detroit and Port Euron given under the anspioes of the depaitment of Michigan W. B. C, and under the immediate management of Mrs. Florence S. Babbitt, of Ypsilanti. At Ypsilanti two more cars fnll of people were added to the train which bad started from Jackson. By the time Detroit was reached there were fuJly 700 people on board. Many stayed in Detroit bnt a far larger number took the boat ride to Port Hnron and back. The trip was a very pleasaut one and the Ann Arbor party arrived home abont 11 o'clock nothing having happened to mar their pleasure. To Mrs. Babbitt a great arnount of credit is due for canying this exourson to so succesaful an issne in the faoe of two otber exonrsions this weei, one from Ann Arbor and the other from Xpsilanti, and her snccess was dne to the large amonnt of personal work that she devoted to it.
