Work on the university eleotrio [ighting plant is being pushed rapidiy forward and nearly all the wiring is now finished. It is expeoted that the plant will be iu running order by the uiddle of September. Henry S. Caraart, professor of physics, bas the general supeiintendency of the work, and he is assisted by two practical workers, R. A. Alleu and J. W. Jones, who will be instructors here next year. Two big dynamos and one engine will be put into the present boiler house to run tbe plant.
