Weaverville, Cal., Aug. 10. - Great excitement prevails at Trinity Center and vicinity over a rieh strike made by the Graves brothers and Henry Carter in the drift claim of the Coffee creek. In four days they took out three buekets full of gold, valued at $68,000. The largest piece was worth $12,000. They expect to take from $150,000 to $200,000 out of the pocket. The gold is coarse and lies between walls of porphry and resembles melted gold poured in the seams.
