Topeka, Kan., Aug. 24.- The Capital publishes reports from every county oí the state giving the condition and probable yield of corn. These returns show that, though former estímate? of half a erop in some localities may have been correct, the generous rains of August have brcught the late corn out so that its enormous yield in raany counties makes up for the loss by hot winds and very materially raises the average.
