Chicago, Aug-. 24. - Dr. James C. Ducker, charged with conspiring to ruin the beauty of his wife with vitriol, will await the action of the grand jury tehind the bars of the Cook county jall. After the hearing, which lasted all day Monday, Justice TTnderwood held him in $3,500 bail. Ducker trembled when he heard the decisiĆ³n of the court, and he and his Iawyer tried to secure signers to his bond. but none could be found, and Constable Leihbrandt marched the doctor away to jall.
