Fred Krause, of Webster, feil off bis porch reoently and broke bis left arm. Miss Delia Harris, who has been siok for a long time, qnietly pass away at 3 p. na. Monday. The teaoher of the town line sohool, district No. 11, intends to take his school to the fair next week. Soine of bis scholars will eshibit soms map diawing and essays. Pred Sanford, who bas been working the Babcook farm, bas leased the place for five years and is getting out some síw logs for building purposes. He expeots to have a new cow barn in the near future. The rain storm which passed over tbe southern part of the oouuty was accompanied by a heavy wind wbich did quite a lot of damage. It leveled some cornfields and 15 acres of buckwheat belonging to one farmer, causing a lot of extra work. People realizad that we had reoeived a change in the weather last Satarday morningjwheu on arising to begiu tbeir work on the farm they beheld the ground oovered with frost. One man declares the iron work of nis grain drill was covered half an inoh thiok with frost. We have failed to learn of any damage being done exoepting to scare a few.
