Both Feet Cut Off

Arlie Leacb, sou of Mra. .7aiues Leach, of Chelsea, met with a very seriona accideut Monday night whioh ruay cost his life. He left Chelsea Sunday night witb Joseph Bernuant aud was beating his way to BufFalo on a stock train. When the train neared tbe station at Essex, Ontario, Monday night, Leacb jumped off to avoid the oonduotur bnt feil onder tbe wheels. One foot was ent off at the ankle and the other leg was so badly sruasbed that it had to be ampntated at tbe thigb. Word was sent to his motber at Chelsea, wbo went to Essex Tuesday. There is some hope for his reoovery but he will be unable to do mannal labor for the rest of his life. Leach is only 18 years of age.
