Not A Public Officer

Des Moines, la., Oct. 5. - The supreme court has affirmed the decisión of the lower court in refusing to hold Suel J. Spaulding for the embezzlement of $13,000 from the state pharmacy commission. The court hoids that he is not a public officer, but merely an employé of the commission. Spaulding approprited the money to speculate in grain.
