Attempt To Murder An Editor

Bismarck, N. D., Oct. 12.- An attempt was made to murder Editor Moffat of The Settler, five shots being ftred by some one unkr.own. This is the second attempt on his life and three weeks ago his presses and type were dumped in the Missouri river. He has been making a bitter war on the saloon and gambling element. There is great excitement and if the Ehooter is eaught he Wlll be severely dealt with.
