At a session of the Probate Court for the County of Washtenaw, holden át the Probate Office in the City of Ann Arbor, on Monday, the 15th day of November in the j'ear one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven. Present H. Wirt Newkirk, Judge of Probate. In the matter of the eetate of Margaret E. Goldsmith, deceased. On reading and ftling the petition duly verifled, of John I. Goldsmith, praying that a certain instrument now on file in this Court, purporting to be the last will and testament of said deceased, may be admitted to probate and that admiuietration of said estáte may be granted to bitnself the executor in said will named, or to some other suitable person. Thereupon it is ordered, that Monday, the 13th day of December, next, at ten o'cloek in the forenoon, be assigned for the hearing of said petition, and that the devisees, légateos, and heirs'at law of said deceased, and all other ipersons interested in said estáte, are required to appear at a session of said Court, then to be holden at the Probate Office, in the City of Ann Arbor, and show cause, if any there be, why the prayer of the petitioüet should not be granted: And it is further ordereci that said petitioner give notice to the persons interested in said estáte, of the pendency of said petition, and the hearing thereof, by causing a copy of this order to be published In the Ann Arbor Argüs, a newspaper printed and circulated in said county, three suceessive weeks previous to said day of hearing. It satisfactorily appearing to me by aftidavit that the defendants are non-residents of this State, that Frederic 0. and William J. reside in the State of Illinois and that Charles Traver resides in the State of California. On motion of E. B. Norris, of counsel forcomplainants, ordered that the said defendants do cause their appearance in this cause to be entered wlthin months from the date of this order; that in default thereof the bill of complaintwhiehis flled in this cause be taken as confessed.
