A Swindling "physician

Wednesday nigbt of last week Deputy Sberiffs Jay Wood and .Tacob Stafi'an, óf Chelsea, arrestad at Grass Lake a man going under the name of Dr. H. Mueller, alias Hartman, of Chicago, wlio has been traveling around the country representing himself as Dr. R. V. Pieioe, of the World's Dispeneary as Baffalo, N. Y., and seJling medioine sa the Dr. Pierce reraedies. He was brougbt to the jai] here and Dr. Pieroe and a Buffalo detective oarne and looked the matter np. Mueller was taken to Calhoun cotinty on Monday, as it is believed the people have a Htronger case againet him in that couuty than here. The fellow swindled Mra. Welhoff, of Sylvan, out of $20 just before he was arrested.
