Bishop Doane's Lectures

Tbe course of leotures whioh is being delivered before the Hobart Gaild by Rt. Rev. Williana Croswell Doane, Bisbop of Albany, on "The Methods aud Meanings of the Manifestations of the Risen Jesns, " has attracted a large number of the thinking people of the city and university to hear thein. The leotures have proved that Bishop Doane is a profound acholar, a sharp and original reasoner and lie olotbes nis tbought in good, simple English that all oan onderstand. As a preacher on Snnday morning last he bad the close attention oí a large eongregatiou, at St. Andrew's churob, by bis eloquent words and pleasing delivery. There are two ruore lectures in the course, toruorrow eveniug at 8 o'clook in Harris hall and Suuday evening at 7 :30 in St. Andrew's chnrch.
