Mr. aud Mrs. J. W. Maynard celebrated their 61st wedding anuiverary Tuesday. Mrs. Henry T. Sotaulz and daughter Mabel are oonvalescing frona their recent illuesH. Miss EmiJy Feiner, who has been vary ili for the past two weeks, is convalesciug. Rt. Rot. Bishop T. F. Davies aüd Hou. E. T. Sloonm, of Detioit, were in the city oa Toesday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Woodard, of Detroit, have been visiting Anu Arbor frieuds and relativas. Mrs. K. Secord, of Kalamazoo, who has been the gnest Mrs. T. W. Mingay, returned home Wednesday. Ottmar Krapf, of Saginaw cast side, is spending a few days with his brother, Herman Krapf, of Detroit st. H. Dean and Major Harrison Soule attended a meeting of the Loyal Legión in Detroit, Thuraday of last wek. The legión was delightfully entertained at tbat time at the residence of Col. H. M. Daffield. The Misses Nellie Terrey, Mary Rinsey, Allie Butler, Katberine Herey, Sarah O'Brien, Kate Faylon, and Rosa floran went to Ypsilanti Sunday to be present at a reception of the öodality of the Saored Heart. JMrs. B. St. James chaperoned the party.
