The Ypsilanti Commercial of last week conrained the following item : "Arm Arbor bas a pectliar way of doing things. A cigar store on Aun st., uear Main, was entered by burglais Friday night, and a qmmtity of goods carried off. Satarday afternoou Deputy Sheriff Ross was in Aun Arbor, aud was asked about tbe robbing by soiue of the under officials. He had heard uotbing abont it, and made inqniries of the sheriff wbo seemed to be equally in the dark. Further investigation developed the faot tbat about half of tbe pólice departrnetit were iuformed of the borglary and the balance were iguorant of it. The same condition of things was fonnd to exist in the sheriff 's office. "
