Johannesburg, Jan. 4. - The voting In the presidentialelectionhas commenced. The eandidates are Messrs. Kruger, Joubert and Schalkburger. The latter's candidacy appears to be intended to split Joubert's vote and secure the reelection of President Kruger. Joubert accuses Schalkburger of breaking his engagement not to run. ' He declares that if President Kruger is re-electedhe (Joubert) wlll continue in office as commander general; but if Schalkburger is elected he will forthwith res-ign that post. m
