Resolved that the names of all persons receiving help from the City be published in the proceedings of the Council. Also that the City Pnysician's report be so published. Aid. Dell moved as an amendment tbat the City Clerk furnish each member of the Council a list of persons receivingr aid from the City. Lost as follows: Yeas - Aid. Moore, Hamilton, Dell, Sweet. Vandawarher, Rbodes - 6. Nays - Aid. Grossman, Koch, Brown, Soule, Cocn, Cady, Pres. Luick - 7. Whereupon the original resolution was adopted as follows: Yeas - Aid. Grossman. Koch, Brown, Vandawarker, Soule, Coon, Cady, Pres. Luick- 8. Nays- Aid. Moore, Hainüton, Dell, Sweet, Rhodes - 5. By Aid. Brown. Resolved that the attention of the Board of Uealth be called to the recent cases of diphtheria in the 4th ward and that said board investígate tho cause and see if same did not arise f rom sev6ral old vaults in tne vicinity of the homes of the persons so afiiicted. Adopted as follovvs: Yeas- Aid. Moore, Hamilton, Grossman, Kocli, Dell, Sweet, Brown, Vandawarker, Rhodes, Soule, Coon, Cady, Pres Luick - 13. Nays - None. By Aid. Dell. Resolved that Andrew Hemmedinger on West Hurón street, be granted the right to cut a dead tree in front of his property. Adopted as follows: Yeas - Aid.
