Frank Davenport moved Tuesday' froui Oharley Booth's place to lus ovvn place. Mrs. Savercool, who visited ir, lier pare'nts' home two weeks, returned to her home in Detroit Wednesday. Tuesday evening of this week a dance was given at the home of Mrs. Campbell in honor oí her daughter's bhthday. Mr. Densmore, who visited ;it this place two weeks ago, was f'rom Leelanaw county instead of Lenawee cóunty as was stated in that week's issue of the Argus. Mrs. Lula Westfall, Fred Gauntlett, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gauntlett and William savercool, of Detroit, visited at Cyrus Montonye's home üunday, Feb. 6. Mr. Barney, of Ann Arbor, made this place a business cali last Wednesday. He hopes in the near future to be able to set up some of his fine monuments in the cemetery near here. The protracted meetings which have been in progress for the last few weeks at Cone, have closed ou account of the muddy roads. A large number are expected to unite with the church there. The dance given at the Lake Ridge bal 1 room last Friday was not as great a success as the one two weeks ago. Oniy 23 numbers were sold, but a delightf ui time was reported by all who attended. Feb. 22 there will be another dance in the ballroom here. A large crowd is assured next time, and the d rectors are looking forward to a full house and a neat sum for their trouble.
