Requiem Mass For Maine Victims

Cleveland, Feb. 22.- By direction of Bishop Hortsmann a solemn requiem mass was celebrated in St. John's cathedral, this city, in memory of the dead crew of the battleship Maine. The cathedral was elaborately draped in mourning and the function was attended by a crowded congregation. Rev. George Vahey, rector, officiated at the mass, assisted by the cathedral clergy, Revs. Drs. Farrell and Mylott.
