Contracted To Raise The Maine

New York, Feb. 22.- The Merritt & Chapman Derrick and Wrecking company have signed contracts with the government to raise the battleship Maine. Their most powerful tug, the Monarch, now at New York, will proceed at once to Havana. The Monarch will be followed by other tugs and the work will be begun as sooijls possible.
