Washington, Maren 1. - The invalid pensions committee has agreed on and favorably reported the Gibson bilĂ, extending- the benefits of the June 27, 1890, act to men who served less than six months in the ConfedĂ©rate army and who joined the Union army before Sept. 1, 1864. and did not enlist out of a prison in a northern state. The bill provoked an animated discussion, but was finally agreed to by a vote of 8 to 4.
