Celebrated Its Semi-centennial

The J. G. Ayer Co., the well knowu patent medicine manufacturare of Losvell, Mass., recently oelebrated its seruicenteiinial by a banquet at wbich all tbe employees of the firru were present. The bnsinpss was first fonnded in 3 838 by Dr. J. C. Ayer. At present it oncupies two large buildings witb an aggregate floor spaoe of 83,000 square feet, or uearly two acres. Mauy of the company's 400 employés have been with it for over a quarter of a century. The banquet and speech makiug 'after it as a rnost happy affair.
