Charles King was home from Camp Eaton over Sunday. Arba Audrews visited Camp Eaton the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Clark, of Byron, visited Milán relatives Sunday. The new Digbt operator at the Wabash depot is Wm. Blee from Britton. Monday Mrs. Eli Moore, of Ann Arbor, was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Chas, tíauntlett. Dr. Tnrner left Mouday for Camp Eaton. He has enlisted, pasged his examination and has gone as a snrgeon. The following ñames have been addod to the National Volanteer Reserves: Edgar Lañe, John A. Warner, Emanuel Thomas, Jesse E. Hooker, Donald Mnrray. The Milán Cornet Band has the following offioers: President, Clarenoe Needham, secretary and treasarer, Charles Steidle; leader, Milton Clark; manager, Edwin A. Fairington. The junior class day exeroises will be held at Gay's opera house this eveniDg. There ate 13 in the olass. The Ann Arbor Mandnlin Club and the Adrian Qnaitette will fnrnish music. Saturday was MoCormiok Day in Milan. All nature seemed to be in sympathy with tbis gala day. Birds sang and the sou shone brightly. There were over 3,000 people on the streets to see the parade whioh started on Main st. about 2 p. m. headed by the Milan band and followed by 75 loads of maohinery beautifully deoorated. Then oarue a steam thresher ■with flying oolors, followed by C5 of the M. O. C. with their bioyoles trimmed with orange and blue and national flags. Tbe program was good. There were a few speeohes, Mrs. Carrick and Miss Nina Lookwood sang solos, and Miss FlorenoeCnapin aooompanied tbem on the organ. At the I. O. O. F. dining hall there was a fine banquet spread for all who desired to indulge. W. C. Reeves sold 72 McCormick machines Saturday. All in all the day was a success.
