Washington, May 24.- Thtrd parties have begun to suffer from the war, according to reporta received from United States Consul Ayme at GĂșadaloupe, a.nd it may be that other West Indian islands are to share in the burdens imposed upon GĂșadaloupe by the existenoe of hostilities. He reporta that there is a scarcity of flour and other provislons and also of lumber owlng to the cessatlon of arrivals of vessels from the United States. Probably these do not care to venture the chance of capture of thelr cargoes by Spanish warships.
