Madrid, May 24.- Duke Almedovar de Rio has accepted the portfolio of minister for foreign affairs offered to but declined by Señor León y Castillo, Spanish ambassador at Paris. The duke informed the correspondent of The Associated Press that he does not desire office, but accepts it on patriotic grounds.
