Mis. Geo. Sauborn, of Lansing, is visiting her niother, Mrs. Lucy White. E. S. Bagamán and Ed. Root spent Monday recreatiug at Sand Lake and other resoits. The sohool entertainment Monday evening called ont a crowd. The proceeds were about $55. The W. R. C. are preparing a box of provisions to send to the boys who have gone from bere to the front. Ham. Kingsley had his arm brokeu in a runaway Sunday and was considerably brnised about the head and sboulders. Miss Clara Diokerson, of Grass Lake, visited over Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. WatkinB and attended the Decoration Day eseroises on Monday. The Decoratiou Day exercises were held Monday forenoon in the school house after whioh Comstook Po.sr aiu! the W. R. C. marohed to Oak Grove ceuietery and deoorated the soldiers' graves. Rev. Shier gave a short but excellent address.
