North Side Church Benefit Social

A lawD social for the pnrpose of increasing tbe building fond of the Nortbside churoh, is to be beid Friday evening, Jnne 17, on Earl Ware's lawn, 1305 Broadway. Band and other mnsio will be fnrnished, ioe oream, strawlierries, cake and leiuonade served, and a quilt sold, the prooeeds to be for the chnroh fnnd. Mr. Ware has a fine lawn and no pains will be spared to make tbe eveuing an enjcyabla and profitable one. We are, indeed, gratefal for the kindly patronage extended, from both sides of the river, bnt espeoially for the work of tbe willing hands from tbe Northside, and ready response from every quarter, to onr reqaests for assistanoe in this work. It is a great undertaking for a small, but nevertbeless determined band of workers and we plead for the Christian helpfnlness of every one who desires to see the gospel of peace extended.
