The Ann Arbor Railway
The Detroit, Ypsilanti & Ann Arbnr electric, railway was formally opened its full leugth last Saturday. The road ruus from Detroit city hall, un Michigan ave., through the villages of Dearborn, Wayne, CantOD, Dentón, to the city of Ypsilanti, and thenoe to Ann Arbor, a distauce of 37 miles. Tne first conssignment of two cars arrived last week and 10 more are on tbe way from the factory of Barney, Smith & Co., Dayton, O. Tbe company is at present running a balf-hour servioe betweeu Detroit and Wayne, from 5 :08 a. m., to 11 p. ra., and frorn Wayne to Ann Arbor every 90 minutes, between 8 a. m. and 9 :45 p. m. The cars of tbe Detroit Citizens Railway Co. are now being used, but the oompaDy will have a full oomplement of its own cars, on or befor-f Jnly 1. The passenger fares are aH follows : Between Detroit and Ann Arbor, 60 cents, Detroit and Ypsilanti, 50 cents, Detroit and Wayne, 25 cents, Detroit and Dearborn, 15 oents.
