Mrs. H. Townsed feil last week aDd broke her arm. Wm. Bnrtless and wife have retorned from the sontb. LaMar Brown has reoently purobased a new piano. Mrs. Wm. Kirohgessner, of Grand Rapids, is visiting in town. Miss Cora Bailey retnrned last week to her home near Pontiac to spend the vaoation. Miss Kathleen Baird, of Fairfield, will teaob in the gramrnar room the ooming year. Miss Myra Spafard has returned from the east where she is a teacher in a school of painting. Herbert Teeter had so far recovered from the effects of his poisoning as to be precent witb the class on commencement evening but was anable to deliver his oration. Seven young men and five yonng ladies were graduated from the high school Thnrsday evening. The exeroises were fine and the vocal solos by Mr. Bnrg, of Chelsoa, received high praise. Among the members of the alumni who came from abroad to attend the reuniĆ³n were: Dr. Thomas Moran, of Pnrdoe University, Mise Fannie Haynes, of St. Joseph, Miss Flora Hartbeok, of Teoumseh, Rev. Addis Leeson.of Fairfield, and Miss Helen M. Carpenter, of Horton.
