The marriage of Mr. James Hendry Prentiss, the well known and popular seoretary of the University Alumni Association, to Miss Editb Henrietta Noble, the only daughter of Mrs. A. L. Noble, of División st., one of the brightest and most popnlar young ladies of the city, was oelebrated iu the M. E. ohnrch in tuis city last Thnrsday eveuing. It was one of the prettiest weddings Ann Arbor sooiety bas ever seen. The floral deoorations of the chnroh were snperb. The wedding guests were handsomely gowned and bright and interesting faoes were torned toward the wedding prooession. Rev. JDr. McElroy offioiated at the ceremony, the Episcopal rites being nsed. Master Freddie Daley sang "O Promise Me" and "I Promise Thee." Mr. Kenben Kempf rendered the wedding rnarcb. Miss Nina May Howlett was the maid of honor and Walter Bennett, of Chicago, was the best man. The bridesmaids were Misses Margnerite Knowlton, Bessie Maok, Gertrnde Savage, of Cassopolis, Minnie Bnnker, of Maskegon, Katherine Pnnobeon, of Philadelpbia, and Eva Jane Bill, of Chicago. The nsbers were Messrs. James F. Bradley, Cari B. Williams, Harry Colé and Robert L. Dean, of Cbicagq, Charles B. Hole, of New York city, and William L. Mack, of Canon City, Coló. The bride entered the churoh on the arm of her brother. Clarence Nuble. Her exquisita gown was of heavy shimmering white peaude-soie. The bodice high neok and woru with loijg sleeves, was daintily triiumed with point laoe. The skirt was made a-la-train. She was cotnpletely enveloped in a white tulle veil. Sbe carried lilies of the valley. A handsome reception was giveu at the Noble residence at the conclusión of the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Prentias left for Detroit froin wheuce they went by water to Chicago and from there to Cauon City, Colo. They will spend the surumer in the west. Aruong the guests frcim out of town were the following: Mrs. C. A. Burton, of Chicago; Mrs. Arthur G. Curumer, of Jaoksonville, FJa. ; Mrs. Dr. MaoLcblan and Miss Winified MaoLaohlan, of Detroit; Misa Lillian Tompkins, of Bay City; Miss Annie Howe, of Boston, Mass; Miss Louise Decker, of Battle Creek, Mich. ; Miss Susie MoKee, of Charlotte, Mioh. ; Mrs. E. S. Parsons, of Saginaw; Miss Graoe George, of Jaokson, and Mr. Bartlett Chase Dickinson, of Kalamazoo.
