Escaped Convict Caught

Deputy Sheriff Wackenhut made an mportant arrest Wednesday when he athered in William Ward, an escaped jonviet from the St. Cloud, Minn., prison. Ward, who is about 30 years jf age, is a son of John Ward, of áalem. A year ago he was sentenced :o flve years imprisonment tor stealing 5180. Iu January he was on parole for his recapture. Wackenhut lound Ward staying with relatives in Chelsea, and after a long chase through the woods brouglit him to bay by ;hreatening to shoot. Deputy Warden Norton, of the St. Cloud prison, carne to Ann Arbor late the same evening and tqok the escaped prisoner away with him.
