Notice of Drain Letting. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN. THAT I Daniel W. Barry, County Drain Commissloner of the Couuty of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, will, on the 28th day of July, A. D 1898, at the lower end of dratn, in the Township of Dexter, at nine o'clock in theforenoon of that day, proceed to receive bids for the cleaning out of a eertain drain known and designated as "Doane and Ferris Drain," located and established in the said Township of Dexter, and described as follows to-wit: Commencinir in Dexter No. Í Drain in the s e corner neüoinwü section23. and running thence north and west along the line of said drain one hundred and sixtytwo (162) rods to a small lake on the e H of sw hí sectiou 14. Said job will be let by sections. The section at the outlet of the drain will be let first, and reniaining sections in their order up stream, in accerdance with the diagram now on file with the other papers pertainlng to said drain, in the office of the County Drain Commlssioner, to whlch refertnce may be had by all parties interested, and bids will be made and received accordingly. Contracts will be made with the lowest responsible bidder giving adequate security for the performance of the work. ín a sum then and there to be fixed by me, reser ving to myself the right to reject any and all bids. The date for the completion of such contract, and the terms of payment therefor, shall be announced at the time and: place of Ietting. Notice is further hereby elven, that at the time and place of said letting, or at such other time and place thereafter to which I, the Drain Comtnissioner aforesaid, may adjournthe same, the assessments for benefits and; the lands comprised within the "Doane aud Ferris Drain Special Assessment District," will be subject to review for one day, from nine o'clock in the forenoon until fivéfo'clock in the afternoon.
