Mise Minnie Frencb is at Niágara Falls this week. Several Milauites are doing Crystal Lake this week. Mrs. T. Barnes is entertaining guests from out of town. O. P. Newcomb, of Detroit, is visiting Milau írieuds. Tbe boys have returued from their Znkey Lake outing. Dr. Mary Williams is entertaining guests from out of town. Miss Wane Blaokmer has teturned from her Fowlerville sojonrn. Miss Isadell Lockwood has a sohuol near Ypsilanti í'or the winter. Mr. aud Mre. C. W. Pullen have ieturued from their Schofield visit. Mrs. R. Boye and daughter, of Detroit, are visiting Milán friends. Mrs. Chapin and daughter Florence have returned from the Soio visit. J. L. Marble and family have returned from their Ana Arbor visit. A. E. Putman and sous and Mrs. H. Putman are at Niágara Falls this week. Farmers are quite jubilant over tbe fine yield of grain from their harvest flelds. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Bennett, of Ann Arbor, are visiting friends in this vioinity. Mr. aod Mrs. W. H. Whitmarsh left Tuesday morning íor a few days' visit in Detroit. Prof. G. H. Carriok leaves this week for a short outing at some of the Michigan lakes. Mr. and Mis Fred Gauutlett aud family have teturned from a week's outing at Lake Eiie. A large number of the Milán people attended the I. O. O. F. pionic at Dandea the last of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haok entertained Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dennison, of Ann Arbor, the last of the week. The people's camp meeting closed Sunday evening. Tbe inolement weatber was not conducive to oonversions. The L. O. T. M. gave a fine ice cream sooial in tbe millinery parlors of Miss MillieHitohoook, on Main st. , Saturday evening. Miss Ruby Rouse, of Saline, returned home Monday eveuing after a few days visit with her grandparents Mr. and Mts. J. C. Rouse. Will Bessao, of California, who resiiied here a few years ago, is now a brave soldier boy. He went out in Co. K, lst California Volunteérs, and at present is at Manila.
